My rendition of a major hit by Queen and David Bowie: the original version of "Under Pressure" played on my Alembic Essence bass guitar over a MIDI version of the song.
ABOUT THE SONG
"Under Pressure" was developed from a Jam Session that Queen and David Bowie had at Mountain Studios in Montreux (Switzerland). Although Bowie was supposed to sing the backing vocals for another song, none of them were satisfied with the results and they decided working together on another song by Queen called "Feel Like". That song was renamed first to "People on Streets" and later to "Under Pressure".
Produced by Queen and David Bowie and engineered by Mack and David Richards, the song was released as 7" vinyl and CD Single on October 26, 1981, reaching number 1 on the U.K. charts. It peaked the same position at least in Argentina and in the Netherlands.
The origin of the bassline is somehow confusing, ever since John Deacon stated that David Bowie had created it. Nonetheless, May, Taylor and Bowie himself have credited the bassline to John Deacon.

@YouGatchie Thank you for watching and for posting your opinion. As for my right hand, I'm not using a pick in this video, although I've played this song with pick in the past. I guess I should make another video playing with a plectrum. Thanks again for your comment.

@primarci Hi, thanks a lot for your comment. I'm from Spain. Look, I started playing bass when I was 17; sort of 30 years ago. I studied music for some years and have had a number of teachers since then, but since I'm not a professional, I have not been very serious regarding my training.
