  • I was 11 year old in 1967, the most horrible year! My parents unemployed with no income during Hong Kong communist strike period, our family life was extremely hard time and poor. Those thugs placed real bomb or fake bomb every where in the city. British government deployed specialist to clean up bombs on the road. Everyday I had seen many innocent killed or injured on my way back to school.

  • Which documentary is this from?

  • @UltimateChalupa I don't remember for sure. But I think it was a program on the History Channel about the history for non-lethal weapons.

  • The riots of 67 were more to do with the cultural revolution in china

  • The workers in the 60's put up with a lot of nonsenses and unfair treatments from the Colonial government of Hong Kong. However, killing innocent people was evil and should be condemned.

  • 衹要党揮手, 不問原由向前走.

    當年的亞頭已坐車入立法局, 我仍然不停向前走(為不公平7.1上街).

  • I'm doing a project on the 1967 riots, and the impact they had on bringing about social/economic/political change to Hong Kong. If anyone can tell me where I can find the full documentary, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  • @dfgrtrey I could say the same for you, communist.

Tell me, how do you have any faith in a regime where hard work is put above people's lives.

    You, yes you, are pathetic.

  • @OfficialFearClan the face of the world is changed, but you stand still, pathetic.

  • @bobchewaing Or, to put it simply:

A chinese worker is about to go to work (On sunday) when he passes his friend`s house.

"Hello there friend! lets go to work!"

"I have decided, to take the day off."

    "WHAAAAT?"

"I have researched western customs, rights, and actually being paid."

"......Nothing came up when i typed human rights in Chinese google...."

    Its funny cause its true.
