  • This was played at the very lower end of Presto, so in all technicality, he is correct. When you're comparing it to Rostropovich's who plays it so fast that his pianist can't even keep up, then yes it is very slow. But you have to remember the biggest part of music: Personal Interpretation.

  • But Rosztropovich's Elfentanz playing ( wich u can find on alsaw on youtube it is a pice of shit. Ok he play in a virtuoso tempo, but he only play 80% reality of that what is written on the scores... ( Who is the best on youtube? ... if u ask me --> Daniel Gaisford )
