Cantilene in E minor "Saint-Savin", written on August 2009 at Marennes (France) The composer Jean-Paul Verpeaux. has been an organist in this town. Nowaday, having Parkinson's disease, he cannot play but compose a lot of organ musics using his computer. This cantilene has been performed with Harmony-assistant and Kloria MyOrgan software and the Schola Cantorum virtual organ. The picture have been taken at Saint-Savin, near by Poiters.

    Best greetings

  • This is a lovely contemplative piece; it is ethereal and graceful even in the loud parts. Very calming music to hear before going to sleep... P.
