  • Mustang didn't win. 12.68for the Maxima to the Mustang's 12.88. Mustang trapped 5 mph higher, but had a bad launch and never caught up.

  • @anx1300c

The Mustang did win because he had a better reaction time. .04 second win margin, if I remember correctly. You can clearly see the win light come on in the Mustang's lane. And on one of Sparks03max's videos (the guy with the Maxima), he shows a pic of the slip showing the Mustang win margin.

  • mustang is stock?

  • @HotShotVQ35

    Not sure. I'd guess so.

  • @HotShotVQ35 Defenently! Chip + Exhaust has Stangs dipping into Mid 12's alone.

  • @cantbsdave

They'll do that stock with a good driver. You can hear how much the Mustang was spinning.

With a tune and tires, the new 5.0s will do high 11s with a good driver.

  • Good Video

  • Hey guys, just want to note that this car is not equipped with a QR25.

  • @mrdragking13 Not doubting you at all. Like I said, I own a 2008 Altima and I have over 100k miles with no issues whatsoever. I have heard about and seen the 2002's with issues, but the proceeding ones seem to be able to hit 200k+ miles with little trouble... My mom previously had a 1995 and a 1997 Altima, both of which gave us around 300k miles. One died and the other got totaled. I have been very please with them since, and so far, I have no reason to doubt them.

  • @arcenal352 the service department i used to manage would get altima's from 2002-2004 all with the qr25de all with the same issue. in my case my car sucked up the pre cat and blew the motor on i95 and caused an accident. i had high hopes for the car, cause i really liked it, smooth and quiet, but it horribly let me down. i daily drive my track cars and none had issues as bad as this car and i abuse my track cars where as the nissan was pampered with every oil change.

  • Respond to this video... *shop not *ships lol

  • @mrdragking13 Eh... I like the QR. They were iffy for one year (2002) but have since been remarkably reliable. I have a 2008 altima with the QR25DE and I have 101k miles on it with no issues at all. Also, the ships in which i used to work has 2 customers with the same cars (CVT and all) with over 200k miles... They were bad for one year and that was it.

  • @arcenal352 nissan is a joke, there qr25de's were a scheme from the get go. thats why i sued and i won, simple nissan is paying for the crap i went through. the only thing nissan is good for is their vq motors.....wow 1 single motor....sigh.....sad

  • @mrdragking13 Sure beats GM's 10+ years of selling cars with faulty LIM gaskets. Their response: "We don't see anything wrong with it." Oh really? Every single V6 made during that stretch would drink loads of antifreeze through it.
