A little over produced, should have been less heavy on the harmony, and had more moments like 0:56.... a nice attempt though. As it has already been established we miss Jon, but, coming down to earth for a second, who really expects these 2000's releases from 60's/70's bands to be anything legitimate, or groundbreaking? The fact that they survived and charted all the way up through '87 is a miracle itself. Hour of Need is a pleasant morsel for ever hungry fans
Man am I glad Steve didn't continue to play expressive on the mandolin for 8 minutes again this song actually has a rhythm people can relate to that aren't all deep and into philosophy and shit like the fans that are a little educated and suddenly become all knowing geniuses.I'm a huge Yes fan but they haven't made an album really that interesting since Union, they've made some good music and the albums had a few good songs but not just loaded with greats.Yes needed to write a hit song imo.

@CookieBrookie21 Your dad is raising you right, kiddo. Good for him and good for you-you both have good taste in music.

I REALLY agree with some other posts from insightful people that say that the vocals are WAY to Starcastle.....however, still sounds great!
