The horses have access to fresh water up by the run-in shelter and at this creek crossing. We have somewhat hardened the crossing with geo-textile fabric and washed gravel. We are trying to keep the mud down, and keep the impacts to water quality in the creek to a minimum. The creek has a sand base, and the crossing is a a low spot in the surrounding topography so this works well. This is the only entrance/exit to the pasture between the creeks. The bridge gets the most use.
