Hi CptMunta here,
This is Episode 1 in Series 2 of my Fighting Game travel log.

This episode covers the Costa Rican Fighting Game community. I attend a Super Street Fighter 4 tournament in San Jose. It took place at the end of January 2011.

I chat to pbrkyo the current Costa Rican Champ, faiyez local poverty fighting game advocate, crpyz a KOF fan who used to own an arcade, and many other local players.

@LuigiLonLon I spent 2 months in Meixco it's a beautiful country, really enjoyed myself while I was there. Shame it was in 2004 before the fighting game revival, otherwise I would have loved to have covered the Mexican scene. Hopefully I get to return one day and cover Mexico as well. I speak to BeerClaumeister in the first episode he's from Mexico

@kenthrax I kind of only cover scenes in the cities/countries I am already visiting. I have a lot of connecting flights in Singapore, if I ever have a stop over there I will definitely try and check it out :)

@CptMunta sure. hit me up if you do because Singapore really has a great arcade scene (lots of comp with over 40 AE spread machines island wide) with tournaments and stuff so I think it'd definitely be an interesting location to feature. :)

Lol they aren't playing KOF13 at home. I wish though. Was just a simple cutaway to show people what it looks like. Footage was from Rack n' Cue an Arcade in San Francisco which is featured next episode.
