This one piece solid maple top Tongue Drum is a little more bass sounding on a few of the keys due to it's depth, and size. As usual, The top is cut painstakingly with a jigsaw, and always from Reclaimed lumber from old wood Furniture, shelving, and sometimes old slabs of thicker wood which is planed down to stock 3/4, or 15/16 size thickness. This piece is finished with an ogee edge that the end keys just seem to roll off into. It is a semi gloss laquer, and adds to the hard maple's sharp, natural tone. If you are a percussionist, you will make it sound alot better than we did. the video is only to display sounds of the piece. 2 mallets are included, and it is available for sale on Ebay from July 13th to July 17th 2009. Thanks, Veronica.
