@stormtruper629 Ah yeah, that would make a lot of sense. Not sure if they did that but that would definately be a very easy way to create a good illusion so probably. Makes more sense then double sided,

@GhostInTheShell29 Yes that generally how they do their tricks, they take very common tricks and "show" you how they are done, but then usually one up it with an actual trick that isnt revealed how its done, ergo the cat. But I believe you are slightly correct on the box. Its probably more likely that the box doesnt have a back to the lid. So when he lifts it straight up in the air the cat is still at the bottom of the box.

When the cat got thrown I nearly shouted BINKY. I rewounded the cigarette bit about 5 fimes until i saw the fake hand.
