Longplay of the AGA version of Jurassic Park for Amiga.

Decent game but the 3D sections aren't very good.

Part 1/8.

  • Does someone knows if there where a different between the 1200 and 500 version?

    Markus

  • Well the A1200 version has more colors. And I don't think the A500 version had the 3D parts either.

  • I played the PC version when I was 11 years old. Now I got it working again on dosbox/linux! But it's little slow. Or has this video been speeded up? (Maybe both..)

This and the PC version seem to have different musics, but I'm not sure which ones would be better... both have their strengths. I would like to get the soundtracks of both.

  • I can imagine the programmers raising some eyebrows towards some of the more questionable design choices:

'what do you mean "why would there be pteradons in the sewers"?'

  • the music on halo reach is almost identical to this!!!!!

  • I remember playing this as kid on like 4-5. Even the main menu used to make me nervous.

  • holy shit! thank you so much for the nostalgia. I didn't recall those popping flowers til now.

  • loved this game when i was young, i finished it over and over again. it had some difficult part i remember...thanks alot for posting this.

  • Whilst the 3d sections were a struggle for the Amiga, I tell you what they were bloody scary, especially with the lights off!

  • I used to play this game when i was 4...long time ago but i can still remember it...

  • I know, I'm a bit late but: The A500 version had the 3D Parts. I know that, played it. Nice vid, man...bringing back good, old times. Loved your SOTB II Run as well....

  • Legend game

  • sorry. typo error. i meant really serious not .eally. lol

  • are you being sarcastic about the music being nice or are you .eally serious,

  • I remember this game. Though I never had it for my Amiga I played it on the SNES.

I got pretty far until I was in a 3D part and got stuck in a door. It had closed on me or something. Anyway, I hadn't saved in awhile so I gave up on the game. Bummed me out pretty good.

Nice seeing this played on an Amiga.

  • i got this for x-mas. i played it recently on emulation

  • Yeah i thought this was brilliant could never get past a certain level though.. think it was the fifth.. I was only six though lol tempted to set my commodore up and get playing now... Reminds me of my childhood this love it...

  • Me too! The weirdist thing is, I remember the music!

  • OH MY GAWD!!! I had this game when I was little, and my brother and I played it so hard and finally finished it, but my god it was hard. Yet, it looks weirdly easy on this clip. *Sigh* memories . . .

  • God haven't played this game since I was 3!

  • this was the best JP game ever...love the FPS raptor segment in the end. i loved this game.

  • SWEET! Looks like a cross between SNES JP and Genesis Lost World.
