No, Smallville is the latest comic book adaptation of Superman except it is about his origins, his early days and before he puts the suit on. And Smallville has no relations to Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. On Smallville, they have been basically rewriting Superman's Mythology a little bit but not too much though. It's almost like an alternate universe of Superman.
