The police didnt even want their cars cause they are gas wasters and the costs would be really high for police. German police use Opel,BMW or Mercedes cars depending on the state. Bavarian police for example use BMW's.

wtf are you thinking of german police? they are in germany not in a corrupt eastern europe banana country or whatever. They got all their cars back, they didnt have the right to keep their cars. They just make sure that they dont race in germany! they can race in istanbul, holland or whatever but not in germany, that was the reason.
