It would be twice the knife if the blade was 8mm thick along the spine or at least 7.5mm. The blade is a bit skimpy for chopping branches and the rope should be suspended from one end to show the sharpness and cutting ability. Alltogether, it's quite a good knife but I would like a thicker spine .

@HiCapacity 440C, .90% carbon abd around 12% chromium. It isn't 440A that all the crappy $1 pocket knives are made of. It can hold an edge much better, and not overloaded with chromium.
