@cliklab I suspect you may be right. But if she stays clean, she can change her style to suit her new voice and give that a go. It remains to be seen if the public will accept a Whitney who can't come close to her old range. Personally, I think it could make her a better interpreter of songs. When you rely on power as much as she did, expression sometimes gets overwhelmed by the mechanics of producing that big a sound. I'd like to see if she can learn to sing, not just belt.

WTF. Nobody was complaining about her "new voice" before the album but now you do. What did you expect... for her to sound the same on her old hits?? This is a very respectable performance :)

We applauded and enjoyed her talent for so many years. She has given the world a repertoire of music that touched our lives and we will forever be nostalgic whenever we hear her songs again and again. Sometimes we have to give a little bit more to those who have given us joy and when the chips are down, we should rise to the occasion and emphatize with other people's troubles.
