Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin (1991) is a movie by Mahesh Bhatt starring his daughter Pooja Bhatt and Aamir Khan in the lead role with Anupam Kher, Sameer Chitre, Tiku Talsania, Deepak Tijori and others...
It's a remake of the Hollywood film 'It Happened One Night (1934)'.
Pooja, a spoilt girl, is the daughter of the shipping millionaire Dharamchand. She falls in love with the film star Deepak (Sameer Chitre), but her dad disapproves. She escapes from her father's yacht and begins to make her way to Bangalore where Deepak is shooting. Before arriving there, she meets Raghu (Aamir Khan), a reporter, who has lost his job. He offered to accompany her to Bangalore in exchange for a sensational Story about her. During the trip, their relationship grow deeper and turns to love as they face various obstacles together.
One night, while Pooja is sleeping, Raghu writes a note saying that he is going to get money and will come back to marry her. In the morning unfortunately Pooja don't see the note. Thinking that Raghu left her, she goes back to Deepak. Will she marry him?
The Music is by Nadeem-Schravan. The Lyrics are by Sameer.
