In honor of our 250th Episode, George, the official TV Guide Dog, marks the occasion by reading a poem by William Butler Yeats. George certainly is a thoughtful and well-read animal.
My Golden Retriever had a sneering view of human poetry. Once I had been trying to select a poem for submission but lay down, leaving the poems on my swan chair. My BIngo went to the chair and took the poems in her teeth. Circling the room thrice in delight she scattered them on the floor. After sniffing them all, finding 1, she took it in her teeth and brought it to me.
