  • @posypity Haha, no worries my friend, always fun to hear

from you, you can never chat enough about this amazing band :)

  • @shum65 recently i've thought i'm acting up to a stage

like a star-struck eleven year old...its good to hear from

you too. i'm sure i'm O.D.'ng on C.O.D. with all my

    cocteauchat.

  • @posypity Good to hear from you my friend, you always

put a smile on my face with your comments :)

  • @shum65 am listening to M&L at the mo. on talking c.d. after

disc one i give it a Lazy Calm out of ten [my top marks would

be a Three Swept/10 and lowest a Half Gifts from M&K/10].

the concept of a battle using weapons of tea making sounds

    right up my cobbled street.

  • @posypity You'll love Rye, its a cobbled dream on a hill,

My fave TV series of all time Mapp & Lucia was all filmed

around the medieval town, you must stay in the Mermaid Inn :)

  • @shum65 now i'm jealous...i looked up master Benson and he

does appear to conform to my maxim of 'a writer should write

more books than he reads.' i'm reading 17 james's at the same

time at the moment so i've got my work cut out. rye is on my wish

list as well as southsea. i once went to a record fair, picked up a

couple of cocteau magazines and then went on a felt pilgrimage

to Water Orton. it wasn't watery at all like i'd imagined. oh, dear

i'm wittering on. do take this 'play' down.

  • @posypity Haha lol some of the photos were from 1981, this was

a break through video for me, being more experimental I guess, still really

like it,and the song is my fave from the mighty Garlands album,

Henry James, he lived in Rye east Sussex didnt he,in Lamb House?

One of my fave places, one of my fave authors was EF Benson who

also lived there, and wrote the Mapp & Lucia books,

Oh I never released my cover of this song, its just for personal use, I have

    recorded as myself 4 decades

  • @shum65 wow, you looked so different. 'i am still the same'

though it does help being 2 stone underweight [i get the

Dorian Gray stares] now i like to think of you looking like a

young Henry James[my favorite author] you should do a

video in the vein of the turn of the screw, i liked the color you

put in the b/w. why not do a whole video in such sepia washes

going through the rainbow shades one by one [or from pink

to orange to red] wow you did a cover? pray, under what name?

  • @posypity I actually did a cover of this track some years ago ,

its my fave from my top CT album, glad you enjoyed this amazing

track to,really loved doing its video, which consists of many old pictures

of me over the years lol :)

  • @shum65 glad i made you lol [busy being crazy more-like]

this might be blind, dumb and deaf but for the first line of

iceblink luck i sing 'stealing to Belinda Lang' [she's really

    very pretty]
