looks kind of unorganised but its good! :) they have fun and thats all that matters! considering theyre not even Germans :) The one in the short "Dirndl" is really pretty though :)
@coonandbonzi & @Duffman3787 : In the meantime another vid occured with a better version of this dance: "Reve de Babette" by user muckychat and performed by a Swiss folk dance group. And the French name says that this dance isn´t a German one, but comes from the French Switzerland near Geneva. But the tune is also known in Germany, too, and there are surely German dance groups which know the dance and perform it, too. A foreign origin is NOT an obstacle for us, not to perform a dance !.
I wish I lived someplace where I could learn German folk dance, too, but alas I live in the boonies. lol
I have a great deal of German ancestry, but know next to nothing about the traditions, dances, etc..count yourselves lucky you get to learn so much and have so much fun doing it. The best of everything to you, and don't let the idiots get you down. ;)
@Hancock724 That there is my history and ancestry your insulting. I don't appreciate it, and probably 1/10 of the people you've met in your life had some German ancestor. Even if you just saw them for a second. You probably didn't realize that did you. So, I’m not one to swear, but screw you bitch, I don't appreciate you saying those derogatory things about my history and origin.
Haha that's me sitting awkwardly in the back. I don't mean to brag but won that year, lol
