Movie recorded at a concert in Birmingham, March 2010.

This tune harks back to the golden ages of Boogie Woogie and is generally credited as being an old Pete Johnson and Big Joe Turner song, as indeed Jools' himself credits this at the end.

Great 'Big Band' with the twelve strong horn section {5 saxophones, 4 trombones and 3 trumpets} greatly adding to the Boogie/Swing feel of the piece, with Jools as ever playing some great stuff at the piano.

On a personal note, due to the small stage there was a very unusual stage placing of the Orchestra Section on Jool's side of the stage, where I took up my position - my goodness, what an amazingly powerful feeling to be close-up to the guys playing their instruments!

  • 1:30 my uncle..... not to brag ;) LOVE THIS MUSIC

  • brilliant video

  • @yeahnotsomuch1

Sad but true, isn't it...you mentioned Leavell and the Dr, but who else?

We have Johan Blohm of the Refreshments and also Gene Taylor who used to tour with the Blasters...

No one else wants to take up riding the keys in the style of these giants....??? I wish I could.

  • @swingerbeno You are absolutely right. The man is a pure treasure. He's a member of a very small (and dwindling) club of blues piano geniuses. There's still Chuck Leavell and Dr. John, but with the death of Pinetop Perkins last year, there aren't many blues masters of this caliber out there any more.

  • One of the best pianist now

  • Woah, you were practically on stage with them! Great video, thanks for sharing, really looking forward to seeing him in concert soon!

  • I was there...........what a band.........what a drummer.....The best drummers use Silverfox Sticks. Thanks Gilson.

  • tnx for this vid, I love this music. Jools Rules :D

  • This is brilliant! I really wanted to go to this gig as it was my 18th birthday but you have to be at least 21 to go :(
