  • @AMWOODco Ok...To me and a growing number of Christians the trinity teaching is both in-comprehensible and illogical and the God i worship is the "God of order" and truth.

It is called the "Holy Trinity"by church leaders, and is expected to be accepted by the church members as a True teaching.

Christ is "begotten" by the Father Jehovah and is therefor his son.And he is the only begotten because "THROUGH him every thing else have come into existence".the master worker. The Truth always make sense!

  • @1sigge To the baptism, what's the problem? You have difficulty with the concept that all three persons of God were witnessed at one time? It's not like God suffers from multiple personality disorder, he is three persons in one being.

As for Jesus's prayer at Gethsemone, prayer is the means by which men speak with the Father. He addresses him as 'Abba' in Mark 14:36. Even the old teachings insist Jesus was wholey man as well as wholey God during the incarnation.

  • @AMWOODco You also refer to Mark 14:61 and claiming that Jesus here uses one of the suggested meanings of Gods name Jehovah on himself. This is a clear misunderstanding of this verse. The expression " I am " here is simply an answer to the high priest question.I understand that you are a believer of the trinity teaching,so..can i ask you to comment on these two verses from the gospel.

    Matt 3 : 16,17 and Luke 22:41,42 Thank`s greetings

  • @AMWOODco You refer to John 8:23 as an indicaition of his Divinity.

It is important to keep in mind that jesus had a long history living in heaven before he was given the assignment to be sent to earth and become our ransom sacrifice.I can not see how that verse says anything about him being Almighty God.

About Mark 2:1-12,,Jesus was given great powers from God to show in small scale what he will perform on worldwide scale during the 1000year reign that we read about in Revelation. greetings

  • @1sigge "But that don't make him GOD almighty."

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

John 1:14a "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."

In fact, John's first chapters are full of acknowledgements of Jesus's special place as God's Begotten Son.

  • AMWOODco God have given Jesus great power and he performed many miracles wail on earth. And he will perform even greater miracles in the future according to the book of revelation.

But that don´t make him GOD almighty.

    (Philippians 2:5-6) 5

Keep this mental attitude in YOU that was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.

  • @1sigge Here's two quick examples of Jesus showing he believed himself to be God. Mark 2:1-12 (the healing the the paralytic - "Son, your sins are forgiven.") and John 8: 12-30 (look at 23 specifically, "You are from below, I am from above. You are of this world, I am not of this world.")

There are other examples of him exercising divine authority (eg casting demons out in his own name rather than God's) and also his use of the divine name 'I Am' during his questioning in Mark 14 and Luke 23.

  • What scripture can you refer to, to back your statement that jesus claimed to be GOD ??

  • So correct, thanks. See more, with Sir William Ramsay famous EX-athiest archaeologist(not the chemist Ramsay). Tried to prove Luke/Book of Acts wrong, BUT after years of digs proved Luke/Acts correct to the smallest detail. He said Luke was one of the greatest historians...ever.

  • c.50:10. I don't agree that science presupposes objective moral values. Scientists may report accurately for pragmatic reasons rather than moral reasons. So you don't need a moral imperative before you can be motivated to report accurately.
