Pretty damn great, that's me!
Yeah, Koki, we REALLY wanted to know how Crow only has the hots for non-tengu. Thanks for that.
Originally (that is, in the videos), the Jihad scenes were... so clumsily done that even Nico called Koki out on it. First of all, the scene after the Den of Wind was combined with the one before the boss battle, so it was even more to go through if you lost to him.
Second, Jihad went on about his human wife Mary and their child Julietta, and how they give him reason to take down the nobility. Too bad he still mentions the latter before "instantly" turning to ash.
Third, and possibly worst, Remilia totally accepted her fate. She thought she completely deserved having Jihad kill her for her insolence until Meiling convinced her otherwise. Upon which she was all "OH MEILING I WANT TO LIVE I ORDER YOU TO SAVE ME KYAAAAH."
Thankfully, Koki realized the first two were dumb and the last one was... REALLY out of character, so he changed things around, and it was quite an improvement. Oh yeah, and initially, he didn't have the flashback with Yuan and Jihad at all, and instead tried to work with Jihad having no connection to Meiling. Which was a little weird.
No, the original description for Xuan Ya Lian Shan Quan wasn't QUITE that, but man, I was hard up on space. As for the move itself... uh, not sure why it did so little damage. Scarlet Devil Blaze's fault, I suppose; I just figured it would've been stronger if I waited until after I'd used Calming Breath a few times. Guess not!
Fortunately, Remilia has plenty of spare chairs - she was sitting on one in another room during that night-time scene earlier, remember? ...Unless she takes the same chair everywhere she goes...
...That's the falling sound from the start of Final Fantasy 3 NES, isn't it? It sounds at lot like it, at least. Oh, Koki. (In case it wasn't obvious, the Mansion Key opens the door to Fla... er, the door to the room above Flandre's. The other rooms just have tons of enemies and some items.)
As usual, you need a Happiness Charm equipped to keep either member from taking ridiculous damage from Crash. As previously stated, you can get more than one, but... welp! Kasen's Elemental Scale probably would've been useful, but...
19:04 Fire tile, you are DRUNK. There is clearly nothing there for you to damage, fire tile. The only thing you could possibly be damaging is yourself. (RIP Fire Tile, 2011 - 2011)
So, you see that Shane Break attack at the very end of the Flandre fight? Well, that's pretty much the entire reason why I have to be so cautious. The damage varies wildly and can go up to 290 or so. Yeah, you want to avoid that. (I think it might do more if you're closer, but I honestly can't figure out Koki's damage system.) Fortunately, I managed to more or less work out a safe strategy with the Fireworks and Glintgale Kick (since it's long-range and does no damage to the real Flandre - it had to be useful for something!), but it's still terribly random and annoying.
So yeah, beta uploaded. No new music, naturally. Koki is apparently ready to get on with Chapter 2 of Fantasy Chapter now; let's hope.

I love her comment about Patchoulie
"She couldn't possibly know about this"brings to mind of an oblivious patchyengrossed in her library

@snowyarticuno Alas, the real reason for that is that, as briefly mentioned at the beginning of this scenario, she's moved to the west village to work on "her own defenses" - namely, Patchouli Robo. (Continuity!)
