Estimated 120mph+ no load test. This video is crazy! Why there is no reflector on this rear tire - It flew off when close to last gear from so much speed and wind. This is very high performance motor only needing 36v to go really fast! It's a huge savings. Surf through my channel videos to see the latest Freewheel gear ratio designed by us, with a much smaller front chainring. Also check out the Power Hawg's Conversion Project, Make it Electric!

  • (i know this is a no load test) but i was wondering how fast it would actually go. With a rider weighing around 160lbs, a bike weighing around 60lbs (i don't know how much that actually weighs) and MTB tires, sea level, no hills, no wind. Using a rolling resistance of 0.012 and a very modest frontal area of 0.445,

    1000watts = 30MPH

    how fast does it really go

  • @sixteenornumber This whole bike weighs near 100lbs. I had put it on a scale a while ago. Just shy of 100lbs. with a 210lbs rider, in good outside conditions will hold 50km/h. 31.2MPH (But motor will get warm faster) With a 160lbs rider, it will hold very close to 60km/h average (especially with a lighter frame), again good outside conditions (no wind advantages, no hills) So around 37MPH. I doubt you will be able to cut the weight that much. Batteries: 36lbs, motor 8lbs, etc

  • @sixteenornumber That means your frame will have to weigh less than 16lbs.

  • How much for you to build me one and I buy finished?

  • @JEHERETIC If you were to come and pick it up, I would only charge 1450$CDN and batteries included. It will have similar or the same frame as this. A mid quality frame for a high performance motor, there's some things you'll have to consider. The frame used will not be some 1000$ frame, but rather, around 400$. For this particular use, and given you are not going over heavy bumps all the time, shocks will last years. A high quality frame, and motor system I charge up to 2500$CDN

  • @JEHERETIC As well, all other gadgets, lights, speedometer, on-board charger, Maintenance book are included in those prices. As for the batteries. If shipped. All wires will already be in their appropriate location, as well coded, so it will be as easy as a screw driver, and placing the contacts in place. Bike will be tested prior, with other batteries in that case. Once contacts have been tightend to battery, and the two battery harnesses tightened, it's ready to turn on and go.

  • Well if the jack failed, you could just change the name of the video to, "how to make a new door in your wall"

  • You should have a chain guard in case the chain snaps

  • @JEHERETIC I would only ship it incomplete (without batteries). I charge 1650$CDN to build only for USA and that will include the shipping. I would usually only do this local. You'll have to buy 3 specific sized 18-20AH SLA batteries local for around 150$ total, from USA, you shouldn't be playing much more than this. Furthermore, I would not be able to include this specific motor as it is unfortunately discontinued. Another one with similar performance can be used,which is the Unite.

  • Awesome

  • hope the chain doesnt fly off that would be bad... very bad
