@ragingculture....geez. you may be opiniated, but you are WRONG! yes, they are native to arizona...these are not domesticated hogs gone wild, they are wild and they are distantly related to pigs...somewhere between pigs and hippos...do some research.

depends on what area your from on whether they will attack you outright or not. how hungry they are, whether they have young around...or if there are dogs in the area. i've seen them on the river lots of times and never got attacked. their curiosity has me on the edge though.

they are small but they can kill any dog.. pitbull u name it. In southern mexico they even fight off jaguars.

I know when I went to visit my grandma in Tucson for the first time one night I told her one well I'm going out to take a walk around the block and get some excercise, and she's like I don't think you want to do that. I didn't believe her when she told me about the wild hogs. Lol

They may look harmless but trust me, they aren't. I approached one one time and it opened its mouth like a angry hippo and made a weird hissing sound.

if they are the type that are native to the Sonoran Desert in Tucson Arizona.. then, yes.
