We are fortunate to be able to see a lot of wildlife. Our back yard backs up on to 6,000 acres of open land.
We see raccoons, opossums, skunks, coyotes, foxes and more on a regular basis.
We feed the birds daily, so we get to see a wonderful and diverse assortment of birds.
In this video I show Cardinals, which are here year round, but the Juncos and American Tree Sparrows migrate down to here, North America, from the Alaskan boreal forests.
Very cool!
Yep, and what's really cooler is that those are coyotes you hear calling at the beginning of the filming. They sometimes call in response to a passing siren from a police car or ambulance. Sometimes they just call when they want to.
