Elvis Presley (Lets Have a) Party
Written by Jessie May Robinson for Elviss 1957 movie Loving You. Elvis recorded two versions of it in February 1957 at Radio Recorders-one for the film and one for record release. This is an alternate master and is available on Loving You [Bonus Tracks].

I feel it in my leg
I feel it in my shoe
Well tell me pretty baby
If you think you feel it too

Let's have a party, ooooo, let's have a party
send to the store and let's buy some more
and let's have a party tonight

So baby paint your lips
And regulate your wig
And bring along a shovel
If you really want to dig

Let's have a party, ooooo, let's have a party
send to the store and let's buy some more
and let's have a party tonight

I've never kissed a bear, I've never kissed a goon
but I can shake a chicken In the middle of the room
let's have a party, ooooo, let's have a party
send to the store and let's buy some more
and let's have a party tonight

We're gonna have a party tonight

  • I've always been such a huge fan of this extremely outstanding, exciting, legendary, electrifying, groovy and energetic song and Elvis easily has the very best renditions of it. Elvis will definitely always be the one and only King Of Rock 'N' Roll. Elvis will also definitely always be the one and only King of music and entertainment. Elvis is totally irreplaceable and truly a one of a kind. This video was absolutely stellar and dynamic in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.

  • after his mother died he never wanted to see this movie again b/c she is in the audience in the last seen.
