Perhaps I am overly harsh, but consider: the secrets of the Sith would no more die than they did when Korriban was razed to the ground. The Sith is a belief that does not die. Sith spirits and ruins would have lingered, waiting for any curious Jedi.
And it is a good thing Vader did not retain his full power. An eternal reighn of the Sith is the worst thing that could happen. The balance between Light and Dark must be maintained. The pendulum must swing freely.

Yeah, right.... how? Deathbeams? Reflected by lightsabers......Death Ball? Force pushed back to frieza like what Goku did to cooler in the first cooler movie......destroy the planet? Jedi can breathe w/o oxygen.....see Force Unleashed and KOTOR II.....and the final option? Going melee? Jedi can sense them before they come, and Frieza would lose his leg......or what Vader does, lose an arm.......LOL!!!!!
