this is a great video. I have slowly integrated this into my daily routine. I have noticed a nice shift in my daily practice. I am greatful for such a powerfully simple training video.

I studied hsingi for many years and this was explained to us early on. It helps to remain grounded and in developing power.

I have an Inguinal Hernia. My "kua", I think you call it got weak 3 yrs ago from relaxing and doing lots of computer work. Duh! My hernia is 4 inches wide and 6 inches long going to the base of the scrotum. It is very painful when I eat fresh fruit or vegetables as I think I blow up like a balloon down there. I refuse operation as an alternative. For 3 years I have been looking for natural movements to restore this area. I eat vegan and weigh 130 lbs and 5 ft 8 inches. Comment please. chey chey

Ridiculous! Just joking - this is in my opinion one of the most important exercises for any internal martial art.

Good to show this practice but you must have a rounded crotch(dang before you begin).Rounded crotch can be achieved if your knees are extended to their respective sides. To prevent from unconscious coming up it is important to put your fingers on the inguinal crease to prevent any part of the pelvic from coming up

Thank you... Side to Side is a deep practice and can be practiced for many years. The depth of one's willingness and understanding are key. Yes it maybe harder at first... and this is where the value will come when you understand more over time... Gongfu can be like this sometimes... Thanks again!

This is such a pioneering, ground-breaking video demonstrating a simple but deep exercise to develop the kua for internal marital arts. I haven't seen any other videos at this site with such focus. Good work!!!

Wujifa is such a very wonderful practice and within this practice, "side to side" is one of the basic skill sets. Other arts like Taiji, silkreeling, circle walking, Bagua and Xingyi and other internal art. In Wujifa many of the methods are to help the person to gain insights to deeper concepts. We will be posting more neat stuff soon... thanks
