Although he comes from a Biola legacy as the fifteenth in his family to attend Biola University, Conner Cress was focused on Biola for reasons other than family tradition. His young entrepreneurship has taken him from brainstorming how to help others in another country to the start of his own non-profit and even speaking at the White House. Having started his own non-profit, Dry Tears, he is ahead of the curve in applying what he has just commenced learning in his interdisciplinary major of business and intercultural studies at Biola University.

ABOUT THE JOURNEY: Each student has a unique story and reasoning why they choose to attend a certain university. Over the course of the next four weeks, a new student's journey to becoming a freshman at Biola University will be posted. These four students have all experienced God's providence and/or presence in their lives as they pave their path to living and learning in a new place and seeking God in their education each day at Biola University.
