I'd say so. Rails of Sheffield have really impressed me. Whenever they send a package it comes with a thank you note and padded in shredded paper and bubble wrap. Hattons wraps a bit of card board around it and calls it a parcel. And don't get me started on their customer service, you feel like you could make faster headway at a government office :)

These locos are superb, and yes one is not enough so I bought three!! I''ve explored the old S&D track bed at various points and can just imagine one of these locos bursting out of the Combe Down tunnel in full steam!!
I agree with the comments above about Rails - it is run by train enthusiasts and yes they do pack things very well. When I tried to order a 4-CEP from Hattons I was told "we do not sell forceps here"!!

@hollpoll Yes it's a shame, it's really gone down hill since Keith passed away. I hope they fix their business model soon or I imagine it'll start declining.
Regards,
Adam

@TestValleyRailway I think you are right things have changed the old family style of business has gone to be replaced with a more corporate style of doing things. They have a big new despatch warehouse so I think they are having a few teething problems with despatch and computer hitches I only hope they are not getting too big with all the extra overheads and with the recession in Britian they bite off more than they chew. I will give Rails of Sheffield a try.
thanks for watching

@howarth004 Thanks Dave we can't even get food at the moment supermarkets have been cleaned out and nothing is coming through, petrol is in short supply but at least the weather is behaving itself for a while
