Essentially I agree with you, in as far as "first build ethical/moral foundation, second build chi". To do otherwise will create monsters, as has occasionally happened in the past.
According to a student of John's: as unnerving as it may be - the reality is even a cruel tyrant can learn these abilities. They are not proof of spiritual progress or compassion, but rather evidence of skilled meditation, chi cultivation and discipline.

does anyone know what kind of meditation you have to use to build up chi
-
@spacemanlive That crazy because the exact same thing happens to the bodies of Christians.

Looks like his eye treatment didn't take.

@bastion0700 I am Caucasian. And when it comes to America's western culture I can tell you without a doubt that we have been brought up in a society to dislike everyone different then ourselves. We have killed off our indigenous Native Americans, the land and now they are working on the lower class.

what a dead reality we are fed in the western world...

This is the most amazing footage that I have seen in a very long time.

@bastion0700 I have seen this arrogance all the time, but mostly with doctors other health professionals. The Chinese focus on being humble so in our world Chinese medicine is being trampled all over. Doctors think that If it can't be scientifically proven it must not work and they shape how ppl think. then they do a weekend 'medical acupuncture' course and their patients turn around to us chinese medicine practitioners with a 4yr+ degree and say we're not doing it right. Not much respect there.

@Mrsheytun Please keep us updated. This Chi is very interesting. Hopefully it will replace all Western medication. Peace.

@statuecollector86 when you say "western" people often really mean Caucasians. Is this just another form of racism, but better concealed?
Your idea of western arrogance is more false perception & propaganda than it is a reality. The people I meet in my 'western' country have a profound and deep respect for Asia's culture and history.
I have read that some people had built up their CHI so much that after they died their body would not decompose for months after wards. Paramahansa Yogananda is one Yogi. A notarized letter to the New York Times from a mortuary is proof disclosing that after one month after Paramahansa Y0ganandas death, his body had not begun to decompose and exerted a fresh sweet scent.

I think that has to do with temperature of the body, foods that were consumed, and other physiological factors. What we eat can sometimes have a preserving effect on our body at death.
