During my visit to the NYMR I got a few shots at the Grosmont depot. First we see Sir Nigel Gresley under repair and some of the other locos.

We then see 12139 moving within the depot and 80072 on the coaling stage. 80072 then backs up and goes to get water.

Black 5 44767 is seen in light steam outside the shed and the 12139 bring up 69023 towards the coaling stage.

Finally, 80072 is seen passing with a southbound service.

Busy place!

  • That's me driving 12139 on the wheel drop road and shunting the J72 on the the top pit under the coaling tower.

  • @Bigaid Oh cool, hope you liked the shots! Must be fun helping out there??

  • Is that a class 11, the 12139? Don't see so many of those about.

  • @AndreiTupolev Yes, it is a class 11 and they are fairly rare. Cheers.

  • That was something different Keith, very enjoyable....Bob

  • @robmasterman Thanks Bob, it was a good few days.

  • @MEKAYJIMMYNATHE Cheers, great railway!

  • Lovely. Shed and depot shots are always interesting. I like the angle of the last shot, nice way to close the video.
