Nearly one month before leaving for its foreign tour of the Dominican Republic, Kansas baseball got an early jump on things by packing health kits for the less fortunate Wednesday afternoon. Members of the Jayhawks got together in Hadl Auditorium and broke into groups that packed over 1,000 kits in just under 40 minutes. Kits included tooth brushes, tooth paste, soap and a comb along with a couple of hand towels, which the student-athletes will deliver to homes in the Sugar Cane villages of the Dominican Republic during their trip next month.
