We bought a base 09. Liked it so much we got a 2010 Fit sport a year later. I play drums and I can go to a gig with a 5 piece drum kit w/ hardware and cymbals plus take 2 passengers with me. It can get up to 40 mpg, but I usually get 28 to 35 mpg cause it's so much fun to drive!

Laws on this vary from state to state. Some places that it is legal say that it has to be installed so that the DVD player will only work if the E brake is on. Installers of aftermarket DVD players are suppose to install them that way, but most don't.

Why would a sat nav play dvds? having a tv in the dash is illegal.

I have an 07 honda civic wit h the navi and let me tell its a waste of money. I pay almost 2k for something that doesnt even plays DVDS. By the way, 2010 comes with standard VSA and its cheaper, I like the fit but honda doesnt care about safety and having VSA with the navi it just doesnt work for me.

VSA comes if you get the sat nav.

No VSA? 2012 it will be mandatory. Thats the only thing why I not buying the fit this year. I'll wait until next year. But its a great car.

This is a great car for the money. My only gripe is the lack of disc brakes in the rear. I can't fathom why Honda would do that, are discs that much more expensive than drums? Makes no sense to me to have drum brakes in a 2009 model.

I test drove one today. It is interesting how much visibility you have looking forward. I felt like in one of those fighter aircrafts.

Man, I should of got this car. I love the back seat adjustment options and no middle hump. I got a Matrix, which is just ok. I'm going back to Honda for my next car.
