So that's why UP borrowed #3977's elephant ears. They dressed up UP #3985 to look like one of the freight challengers that had elephant ears, in this case UP# 3967. I only have seen video of #3985 in the UP steam shop with these on but not actually in action.

Super nice to look at the American steam locomotives, but even nicer is like in August sees among them the old Polish Passenger steam locomotive with 3-axle Sluggish Oi2 (ex BR 24 DRG) of the Polish State Railways. (PKP). Wheel arrangement 1'C h2. Operating status: end 1960. Use: Mainly passenger
trains. Thanks it's nice.

@andrzejs42 Glad you like it. I always enjoy your videos also. I include many scenes from my two trips to Poland in my "music videos." This one includes the clock on WL tower in Wolstzyn at 0:13, throwing a fire in the Pt47 at 0:52, and me driving an Ol49 at 1:09.

Do you rember the number of the train at 2:17?
24GTrainDude 1 year ago
@24GTrainDude No. Wish I did know the number. Its a N&W 4-8-0 like the #475 at the Strasburg -- but you probably figured that out. My dad shot that in the late 40's at the Transamerican Trucking Co depot in Columbus, Ohio, up in the north end, I don't remember exactly where it was located now.
