Jazz arrangement of the Zero-Two battle theme from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards for the Nintendo 64. Allow me to tell you a very boring story. Kirby 64 was my very first Kirby game I ever played the end. Now you can comprehend the motivations behind my grave actions.

(If you haven't figured it out now despite my reluctance to drop any apparent hints, I'm a huge Kirby fan. Totally looking forward to Epic Yarn! :D)

Heh. :P Feels longer than a year to me. Anyway, thanks for reminding me of its anniversary; it's interesting to compare where I am now with where I was a year ago.

I really should create more remixes similar to this one; take a popular piece and manipulate it into something completely unexpected and (oftentimes) controversial! Ah, but I need to finish the soundtrack to another project before I can attempt anymore ambitious remixes.

Elevator is just slang for really laid back music that you may happen hear in an elevator (and most formal buildings). It's no fad. :P It's not a certain genre, but it's a very descriptive term nonetheless.

I can totally hear imagine this playing in a cafe or elevator (which would make either about 300% more enjoyable). I just have to love the part at 1:40 - easily the best interpretation of that part of the original music I've heard in any remix.

hey, im glad to see this on youtube. i am actually enjoying it quite a bit. when looking for people who do covers/remix' of music its hard to find good pieces. and even more then that its hard to find pieces done by people who have actually made the track there own. so i say congrats to you on taking a piece and doing more then adding a few things or changing the tempo. i hope to hear more like this in the future from all potential artists, as well as yourself as i am now a subscriber.
