@sorrycharly5750 Looks like a buoyancy aid to me. They don't hold your head above the water like Life jackets do so he'd be face down in the water, sleeping with the fishies.

The dude spend 75% of the time talking and less than 15% actually sailing. Then he was on a close reach, not down wind, and a critical factor in down wind sailing is sail trim yet the video didn't show that at all. Good luck to all who think you'll watch this guy then take a boat out for a sail. You'll need your vest.
