  • @reneekelly68 Sure can, you are lying to get attention.

  • crazy ppl

  • This woman christene on the sister wives has not been with the brown's for 16 years as she says on TLC..I have seen her with another family living with them(another family) not the BROWNS. Now can you explain that?

  • What would Jesus do? Well...there were plenty of the more esoteric and devoted Jews of Israel who were polygamists and Jesus never said anything bad about them. In fact the Parable of the Ten Virgins is quite clearly a polygamist metaphor.

  • The people who think polygamy is inherently evil and abusive should think about banning monogamy because there is plenty of abuse going on there. Marriage is a religious sacrament and separation of church and state means govt has no place in the marriage business.

  • fight for their right to polygamy, do not let that stop them from Catholic influence their right, I support their right to polygamy.

  • @mompm

Thanks for your response. I agree.

  • @anotheronem I think the cult like living conditions stem from relgion (and I'm not talking about a belief in God per say) I mean man made controlling the population religion. I think that causes many problem and hurts many people, polygamy in those circumstances is terrible, but so often is traditional marriage in those circumstances. I am married and monogamous because that's the life I love and wanted, but I FULLY choose it out of want not what someone told me was my place. I'm cc btw :)

  • @anotheronem Oh I do agree about the welfare issue no matter what the situation. Here in Canada if a mother was married she would not qualify for our mothers allowance- therefore legalizing polygamny would get some off the system. To me more specific I am against ALL cults- they brainwash, but that is RELIGION- and I have issues with it even with traditional marriage. I just don't think polygamy is the problem in itself until you add someones version of God.

  • Agree to disagree.

But when your taxes go up or the child welfare problems increase re: polygamy issues - dysfunctional family issues, one can no longer keep their head in the sand.

Many who are in polygamous relationships do so due to their brainwashed childhoods - re from polygamous families.

Young girls get caught in this and have no choice. I feel for THEM.

    Peace be with you too.

I NEVER want it legalized. Thanks for being respectful in this exchange. Peace to you too.
