@codyboy560 lol it's a retired race car now. Just for shows and cruise. I've done my share of beating cars into the ground, blowing them up, and starting all over again. I'd rather turn the key and drive the car anywhere I want. I drove this car to Bowling Green Kentucky from Philadelphia and back. Got 24mpg with the AC on. That's out of a car that would run mid 11's at the track. You can't beat that for a 23 year old car! When you beat them into the ground you can't trust them on a long trip!

@freshm9n hey stupid. Do some research before you open your mouth and look stupid. a) turbo cars are fastest with automatic. b) The Grand National only came in an automatic. Yea.. WOW is right... try google and do a little search. You might learn something

Is that a V6, If so how much displacement?

@Anniesmycat it's a 231 cubic inch v6 3.8 liter GM used that block for years and years in thousands and thousands of cars. The ONLY difference in the block that was used in the 1986 and 1987 Buick Grand National was there is a oil drain fitting in the front of the block on the passenger side for the oil return from the turbo drain line. Other then that that block was amazing what you can do with it! GM just stopped making that block only a few years ago.

@mustang4sho Well with these cars once of the reasons I did this was they have drive and over drive. Around the streets I'll keep the car in drive as is runs the line pressure in the trans up a little more then it being in overdrive. The 200R4 they used was the weak point. So typically when you race them or do a blast like this you'll start off in drive to keep the line pressure up in the trans for the lashing it's about to take and then push it up to overdrive when your done as I did here :)
