This is a tradition in our family too, my father also claimed it was a Scottish tradition so perhaps there is some truth in it. As with all things to do with Christmas pudding we use brandy to help the flavours along, and more butter because if something is good fried, it is better with more oil!

I'm from the states and I don't understand what you mean by "Christmas Pudding." When I think of pudding I think of the instant pudding which is less solid. So, what is Christmas Pudding?

We all have our quilty pleasures and usually they aren't that good for our body but good for the soul, but that looks really good.
