this video is awful.
you have no arrows on your vector diagrams giving your diagram no meaning at all since we don't know which direction -b or b is.
polar notation is using magnitude and angle
'rectangular' (or cartesian) is using the x and y axis.
not the other way around.
get this off the net before it confuses people

Amazing! The completely incorrect terminology was used for polar and rectangular coordinates. People shouldn't be allowed to promulgate such huge errors. Unbelievable.

this video is making me more confused, i'm trying to learn something that doesn't make sense

seems u r teaching how to make errors....

learn 2 do maths

thanks for warning me.

Get this garbage off before someone learns the wrong way.

I'm going to echo what they said... You completely mixed the two up. Rectangular coordinates are things such as x = 5 and y = 0 (as your first vector example). 15 year olds know this, man.

Well I notice that the phrases polar and rectangular notation is not used right in the first part of the movie.
Sorry, this is not the problem of this video. My terminology is correct in that aspect.

It's amazing that you hardly notice the error. Oh well the PowerTools did it all correctly.
