I love the L Word, but your points are spot on. The theme song is tacky and awful - I cringe every time I hear it. And yes, my biggest gripe with TLW is the amount of sex, which is on par with softcore pornography, no less. I think it enforces the idea that lesbians are just sex drones and I actually tried to find the censored version on box set but couldn't so I'm stuck skipping scenes every five minutes. And yeah, not a SINGLE butch - hardly a realistic representation of a lesbian community.

I really REALLY love when a beautiful female walks up to me and whatever female I happen to be with (i.e. Friends, sister, mom etc) and says 'hello ladies' or 'hey ladies' ....I just love the word ladies.....just saying ; )
