  • kids age to ride one of this?

  • @Waltismyhero disney gives me gas

  • There are active TFRs that have been effective since 2003 over Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and an indirect TFR that prohibits flight below 3000' above ground level, and within a three nautical mile radius of a stadium having a seating capacity of 30,000 or more

  • Yeah. It's printed on the sectional and the terminal area charts.

  • Is there a NOTAM for WDW? I'm thinking there is a semi-permanent NOTAM but wasn't sure. I guess I can check online here...DUH

  • my couains live in florida and my aunt works in disney world and we get discounts even though we live about a day and a half away from orlando FL

  • I just flew over the area today-- I had perfect visibility and no clouds--It was amazing! I wish I had my camera! Despite not being allowed below 3000 ft. you can still see a lot--I saw all the major landmarks there. It was really fun to fly over Disney--and that airspace is super busy--takes a good amount of situational awareness and VERY good communication skills. Not the airspace for student pilots or freshly minted private pilots. But very fun though.

  • very cool. i had never noticed, but i guess that was probably the point. very very awesome.

  • lucky

  • 11.3 Miles in 8 minutes exactly. Traced it on Google Earth! :) Nice little trek. Seen the helecopter ride on 192 (Irlo Bronson)many times - saw another on International Drive. There are a few around. Haven't done it yet. Looks fun!
