@007toft007 Then, by that rule, isn't saying you are from Britain and saying you are from the UK the same thing? Is someone from Northern Ireland called British? Because that is the term used to refer to someone who is a UK citizen right? Yet Northern Ireland is not British, correct? Or is it not true that someone who comes from the UK is deemed British, and Britain and the UK are not the same thing. Please explain, I am so confused on this. Thank You ~~~~ Chris

@007toft007 Ok, I have to ask because I'm confused. In my travels, I have found that most call themselves British and English, but will refer to themselves as English first.
A person is English because I they were born in England, I get that. A person is British because they were born in one of the countries which form Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), I get that. ~ If the official title is "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland".
