http://www.GirlinMotion.com Flo explains her favorite base layer for running in the winter. With tips for what to wear for cold weather running, she also provides suggestions for beginning runners. Pieces shown are the Under Armour ColdGear SubZero Mock (a long-sleeved compression top) and Adidas Supernova Formotion running tights. Together, they carry her through a variety of winter running and temperature variations. Look out for her next videos on running jackets and cold weather accessories. You can never have too many tips for running in the cold.

  • you look great! do you ever find guys checking you out while you run since you wear tights? I always wondered if women get self concious wearing tights when running since they are obviously tight? just curious.

  • Don't they make anything that rides at the natural waist any more? I really don't like the low cut tights; I've lost a lot of weight, but have some tummy flab I can't get rid of that just doesn't work with the low cut. (I also don't care for the double layer fold-down style - it's way too much material when for sweating!)

  • Flo knows her stuff! When do I get to see her on HBO?

Thanks for the tips. I'll drop the crusty tights tomorrow, as it's going to be a stinky 30 celsius.

    Freak from downunder ;)

  • Very informal. Love this lady, shes so great
