This concert didn't take place on Sept. 5. It was Oct. 5 less than a month after 9/11. A lot of New Yorkers were still traumatized during those days and Bjork's music was a real source of relief.

@finlan9 You think your freedom just came from nowhere? It cost buckets of blood, from heroes who stopped tyrants from enslaving you and if they were not around, the tyrants would return. Of course we can disagree, but only one of us is correct...and I know who that is...so do most rational, educated people.

@finlan9 That is the whole point you may be missing. Many people do not think of the need for protection because they are being protected. They take freedom for granted and do not understand what sacrifice it took for most in the western world/democracies to live in relative peace.
