Palle in Swedish TV TV4

Old ugly guy;
We have to keep our fingers crossed for a guy who is training really hard for hes art, when the inoficial world cup in football freestyle in South Afrika is going to start next monday. Check out Rickard "Palle" Sjölander, hes a guy who can controll the ball really good.


Palle:

Footbalfreestyle is when you juggle with a ball, in an artistic way. Trying to do the most wierd, and difficult trick you can imagine with all of your body parts. Head, shoulders, knee, toe, sole, evrything!

I was about 15-16 years old when i got injured. But i wanted to come back with the training with the ball. So i started to stay at my backyard and try do some new cool moves so i could impress my team mates. And after a while i got so fascinate about everything in Football freestyle, and the mentality in this sport, so i stayed with Freestyle and stoped with football.
I train really much. It can be up to 6-7 hours of training a day.

Dont you ever get tired?




Palle:
Sometimes, when you stand there alone and all you do is juggle with a ball. So sometimes it can be a little bit boring. But in the end, i love what i do and i have to fight a little bit extra to keep doing what i do.

Reporter:
We have Nacka Skoglund (An really old Swedish "technical" football player) behind us here, do you see any comparison between you and him?

Palle:
Our technical level, i have improved alot the last years, and the thing i do cant be compared to what he does. But he was awesome in what he did, and im also awesome at what i do. So maybe in the future, i can reach a similar status as he had. Thanks to TOm Maukas he translated this Thannks tom! :D
