  • @ amar007,

These Blades are off the shelf made by "Align" night blades, they come with a charger for about £30 you can also buy them without the charger.

They are quite good blades too, they are Carbon fibre and niceley made.

  • hey, i have a walkera creata 400 and when it gets about 60cm off the ground it starts shaking side 2 side. does any1 know wat the prob migh be?

  • Hi Rav,

going by what you say, heavy vibrations usually mean bent mainshaft.

or flybar is not equal. If you stick a video of it i will be able to tell you.

  • wow.....I just bought an esky king 3 and so far have just tinkered with spooling up and giving it just enough power short of taking off, with training kit on. I can get it to lift off the skids level, with trainer still on ground, but am realy nervous to give it more power..am i being silly or is it natural? I dont want to crash it!

  • Hi class37s

I wouild take it outside where you have more room, the problem with flying in a restrictive space is the downwash from the blades/walls will make it less stable. If the tail is holding in one position then take her up and keep the tail towards you concentrate on keeping her level, small steps and you will get there.

I had the Honey bee king 2 as my learning tool, crashed it many many times.

  • many thanks Mitchel (rexinre)

I'm in the process of "once again" equipping with night gear, similar to the way I did it last year.

soon it will be dark nights ....

  • very nice hovering , where did you get them blade lights from mate ?? :) well done

  • ohk, thank you. i think it might of happened when i nosedived my heli into the ground. i might sell it and buy a trex 450 kit. if i crash it the parts are cheap and the cost to make it will probably be about $150. urs looks like it flies pretty damn good

  • sorry, i meant 2nd month of hover practice.

  • Thanks for the advice Nokiaandy! Yes the swashplate leveling and EXPO setting is very important, i had my mentor help me do the adjustments for both. I'm in my 2nd week of hover practice and can now hover in a smaller/narrower area. I find that such environments forces me to be more alert ("on my toes") and disciplines me to counter heli's drifting more diligently. But to do it in the small confines of a kitchen like you, i'll need another few months!
