Hilleberg the tentmaker from Sweden makes one of the best tents in the world and this is their Tarra model wich I use.
This tent is completley self supporting the only tent pegs that are required are those for holding out the fore tents on each side, four pegs in total. It's a four season tent wich means that it can be used in any enviroments the earth can offer, even on the poles and in Himalaya.
I also use Primus camp stove (also from Sweden) with an omnifuel burner, this day I used gasoline as fuel but it can also be runned on gas, carosine, jet fuel etc. almost everything that burn.

I think this tent is outstanding any other camping systems like tarps and so on. I set this up in a slow tempo in seven minutes by myself, atleast so far that it would provide a top shealter if the weather changes and some blizzard would struck on me suddenly, it can happen in mountain enviroments.

@mickcrane1, yes it's a great tent. It's a fairly large tent wich can house three full grown men. The weght is 4,3 kg but that includes some extra tent pegs and a waterproof bag to store it in.

nice tent i have a hilleberg tent allak its top quality one day ill have to take it to sweden to do a snow camp..looks like you need a good sleeping bag there!

This tent is the smaller model of two in a special line from this manufactor, the other one is called Jannu. The Jannu-model is according to the manufactors information used by scientists at the Southpole and use to be left alone for long periods of time so that they has some tents to returns to like a basecamp in the snowy landscape.

Ya I can see that for sure it's a great winter camping tent. something I would haul on pulk sled.
