Do you guys call rubber bands 'gum bands'? I heard someone from Pittsburgh say that and didn't know if it was a regional thing or an individual thing.

I'm from Central PA, but I've been asked multiple times if I'm from Maryland as I apparently sound like it, so I'd be horrible at this tag.

@Soulgotha I say gum bands. I think it comes from all the German immigrants to the area since the German word for rubber is Gummi.

Cool, unique topic for a video...4 stars for originality. I'm from Eastern PA and we have a pretty "strange" accent, or so I've been told, especially from people from people from Philly. and S. Jersey. We do share many of the same words to describe things such as: Daddy Long Legs, sun shower, shopping cart...although many people here call a coupon a qupon...Hair looks awesome.
